Lako-Georgia offers a complete and technically sound tile installation service that covers all stages, from ground preparation to final installation. Our professional team ensures that each step is performed to the highest quality to achieve a solid, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surface.

1. Preparing the ground and strengthening the boundaries

Ground inspection and leveling:

Soil study:

Before starting work, our specialists conduct a complete soil analysis to determine its structure, stability, and the extent of preparatory work.

Ground leveling:

The ground surface is cleaned of excess materials and leveled to prepare the base for the layers to be laid.

Strengthening borders:

Installation of curbs:

At the beginning of the work, curbs are installed, which reinforce the boundaries and ensure the stability of the tiles. The curbs are placed precisely in the required position and fixed to prevent movement.

Fixing curbs:

Using special technologies, the curbs are firmly fixed in the ground, which strengthens the entire structure and protects the tiles from movement.

2. Arrangement of a drainage system

Arrangement of a drainage system with gravel and sand

“Laco-Georgia” offers the installation of a complete drainage system. In this process, we take into account environmental conditions and surface specifics in order to achieve the most effective result.

Ground preparation

As we have already mentioned, the installation of the drainage system begins after the ground surface is prepared. Our specialists clean and level the ground surface, which ensures the correct and solid installation of the system.

Layer of gravel

The gravel layer is the bottom layer of the drainage system. It is laid on the ground surface with a thickness of 10-15 cm and compacted with a special compacting machine, which ensures proper water drainage. The size of the gravel particles is chosen so that water can drain quickly, but is arranged so tightly that it cannot move.

Sand layer

A layer of sand is placed on top of the gravel layer. This layer is usually 3-5 cm thick and serves as a support layer for the tiles. The sand provides additional water drainage and creates a stable and even surface for the tiles.

Compaction of layers

After the gravel and sand layers are laid, they are compacted using special compaction equipment. Compaction ensures that the layers are tightly and firmly placed, which is important for the stability of the slabs.

Drainage efficiency

The combination of gravel and sand layers creates effective drainage that ensures proper water drainage on the surface and protects the base of the tiles from water accumulation. This system contributes to the long-term operation of the surface and protects the tiles from deformation.
